  1. Hi,

I am doing some research for a client who is establishing a new winery on the Mornington Peninsula. They are located b/w Pt Leo and Merricks (closer to Pt Leo) right on the coast. We are currently looking to learn more about the history of the area as we need to create a name for the winery. I would appreciate any assistance at all and recommendations for websites or books etc.

    Thank you
    Stephanie

  2. Hi,
Recently my father came across a publication by the Cape Schank Historical Society (1959) – these are the only details I have at this time. Dad lives in the Wimmera and it somehow ended up in his possession (someone having a clean out).
I believe that he would like to pass it on to an appropriate historical society. A quick web search suggests that the above-mentioned society no longer exists. I was wondering if you could provide contact details (email and/or phone number) of a suitable society that might want this publication.
    Cheers!
    Kevin
